The End Result
FEMA wants to help those affected by the recent Lee County tornados register for disaster assistance. Disaster Survivor Assistance teams at the intake centers will help people register for assistance, update their records and information with FEMA, and make referrals to local, state and voluntary agency partners.
Why It Matters
FEMA wants to make the process of registering for disaster assistance as easy as possible. They have opened four Mobile Registration Intake Centers located at Smiths Station Fire and Rescue, Cannon Construction, Lakeside Church of God, and Providence Baptist Church.
